Tourist Route Coffee and Beach Tour

Day 1. Arrival to Bogotá

Arrival at the airport, reception and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.  

Day 2. Visit to the city and Monserrate

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the historical area of Bogotá, neighborhood La Candelaria and the museum of Gold, where there is a selection of pre-Columbian gold and other metal alloys. Lunch. Visit to Monserrate, one of the symbols and the most tourist places in the city. It is a hill of 3152 meters high, where a Catholic church was built in 1925. Ascent by cable car, visit and tour. Dinner, back to the hotel.  

Day 3. Bogotá- Zipaquirá- Sopó

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure by the north of the city towards Zipaquirá. Entrance to the Salt Cathedral, an underground catholic church built within the tunnels of a salt mine to 200 meters underground, close to the village. Tour and lunch. After, visit to Sopó and the Alpina Cabin, place where the dairy products of the Colombian Alpina Company are manufactured. A big variety of products to buy and a beautiful park around where you can enjoy the freshly desserts. Return to Bogotá. Dinner at the hotel.  

Day 4. Bogotá- Armenia, Quindío

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure towards the west of the country destined to Armenia, capital of the department of Quindío on the Eje Cafetero (The coffee-axis), name of the region where growing and producing majority of Colombian coffee, considered by many to be the best coffee in the world. Tour of beautiful mountain scenery, arrival at the Finca Hotel, ubicated in Montenegro, close to Armenia. Lunch and free time to enjoy of the field and the farm.

 Day 5. The Coffee Park

Breakfast. Departure towards the Coffee Park. Entrance to enjoy the attractions of this wonderful park, its landscapes and magnificent shows. Lunch. At the end of the afternoon, we return to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.  

Day 6. Salento- Hot springs of Santa Rosa

Breakfast. Departure towards Salento, typical coffee village which in characterized by the color of its houses and its viewpoints towards the Cocora Valley, indigenous name of a Quimbayan princess that means “star of water”. Tour and free time to enjoy the streets decorated and its trade. Lunch. After, visit to the hot spring of Santa Rosa de Cabal, where you could enjoy of the pools of medicinal waters and its beautiful landscape. At night, dinner at the hotel.  

Day 7. Panaca

Breakfast. Departure to Panaca (National Park of the Agricultural Culture) ubicated in the municipal city of Quimbaya. Entry and start of the tour for each of the park stations. You can interact with the animals and enjoy their shows. Lunch, at the end of the afternoon we return to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.

 Day 8. Armenia- Medellín

Breakfast at the hotel. Start of the tour, departure towards Medellín, the city of eternal spring. Lunch on the road while we enjoy of mountain scenery. Arrival to the city, dinner and accommodation at the hotel.  

Day 9. Guatape-The Rock of Peñón- Paisa’s little town

Breakfast at the hotel, departure to visit the beautiful village of Guatape. Boat trip through the dam. Lunch. Visit and ascent to the rock of the Peñón, a landmark inselberg of 200 meters above its bas with a stair way that has been carved into the northern face. From the top you could appreciate the beautiful view of the dam. At night, visit to Paisa’s little town, from where you can see all the city of Medellín. Dinner and accommodation.  

Day 10. Visit to Medellín

Breakfast at the hotel, visit to the downtown of the city, Botero sculptures and Agua Park. Typical lunch and free afternoon. Dinner and accommodation.

 Day 11. Medellín- Cartagena

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Cartagena. Transfer to the hotel. Tour to the city in its typical chiva bus. Lunch. Visit the main attractions of this beautiful colonial city, historical patrimony of the humanity, Castle of San Felipe, walls and vaults. At night, carriage ride through the old walled city. Dinner and accommodation 

Day 12. Cartagena- Rosario Islands(Optional)

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the pier to take the boat that will take us to the Rosario Islands. Typical lunch. Return to Cartagena. At night, rumba chiva bus with vallenato musical ensemble. Accommodation.

 Day 13. Cartagena- Return

Breakfast at the hotel, free morning to enjoy the city and its beaches. Lunch. At the indicated time transfer from the hotel to the airport for the return.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

  • Apply supplement in single room.
  • Services in the destination not taken by the passenger are not refundable, independent of the cause that originate it.
  • To reserve a deposit of 20% of the value of the program is required, which is paid the total payment. The registration fees are deposits demanded by the hotels and transports as guarantee of fulfillment, (excepting cases of force greater verifiable).
  • The total payment must be cancelled 15 days before the scheduled departure date for the trip.

CANCELLATION AND MODIFICATION COSTS

  • Cancellations between 15 and 8 days before departure you have 50% of expenses per person on the sale price.
  • Cancellations between 8 and 1 day before departure you have 100% of expenses per person on the sale price.
  • The non-presentation on the day of the exit of the circuit will incur in 100% of the total expenses.

  • Upon receipt of the deposit that the passenger delivers, we understand that the passenger has learned and accepted each of the conditions, payment policies and cancellation.
